Kittens Unlimited was founded in 2002 by Pamela Iversen.

It is a small, non-for-profit, 501 (c) (3) rescue that does its best to help with the overwhelming cat overpopulation problem in Ohio.

We rescue cats from pound and owners who can no longer take care of them as well as taking in strays from the local animal control. We are quick to respond to emails and, unless something is going on, will return any adoption requests within 2 days.

We have a large barn, and are looking forward to opening our shelter to farm animals and horses. We have several stalls, a house, and our shelter. Our shelter is where our cats are kept. Because we do not believe in caging our animals other than for medical reasons, our cats are kept in rooms according to their age, needs, and personalities and are matched with cats with similar personalities. We have a Volunteer, Deb, who lives in the house next to the shelter so we are sure that our animals have 24 hour care. All of our animals receive some of the best Vet care, seeing Dr. Daniel Beer with Care Pet Clinic here in Columbus and if there is an emergency or the animal has something Dr. Beer is unable to treat, we take them to MedVet. It is clear our animals get the best care.

Kittens Unlimited is located just outside of Canal Winchester. Because all the Volunteers at Kittens Unlimited also work, all viewings are done by appointment and only after the Adoption Application has been submitted to the shelter's satisfaction. The application does not obligate you to adopt but makes the process go much smoother.

A special thanks to our Friends!

  • If you are interested in adopting a kitten, we will need an adoption application filled out. We will contact you within 48 hours (excluding weekends and holidays) after receiving and reviewing your application. If you do not hear from us within this timeframe, please email us. We may be missing information on your application and be unable to contact you.

We have "Kitten Days" every Saturday and Sunday (excluding holidays) from 12p-4p at the Complete Petmart in Reynoldsburg. During these hours we have some of the kittens available.

Please note: We do not do on-the-spot adoptions, as we feel that adopting a kitten should not be a spur-of-the-moment decision.

"Merchandise" is under construction.
Even if you are unable to adopt a kitten at this time, you can still help! Kittens Unlimited is in desperate need of items to help care for the kittens. While food is often donated by cat food suppliers, we are in short supply of the following items:
  • Cat Litter - Any type, Any brand.
  • Cat Carriers
We can also use:
  • Paper Towels
  • Pieces of polar fleece
  • Old jeans especially "name" brands or jeans with lots of detail - studs, stitching, etc.
  • Jewelry, beading supplies (i.e. wire, unused or broken beads)
  • Additionally, things equivalent to monetary value such as Fresh Step Cat Litter Paw Points help by providing points towards cat litter products. Just clip out the paw points and drop them off at the Complete Petmart in Reynoldsburg.

Be sure to ask a Complete Petmart associate for help in locating any bargain deals for the kittens. This will help maximize your generous donation.

If you would prefer to provide a monetary donation and let Kittens Unlimited purchase the items most needed, cash or check donations (made out to Kittens Unlimited, please) can be dropped off at the Complete Petmart in Reynoldsburg.

We thank you in advance for your donation!
